Charity Highlight - Music for Youth

During the month of November, I am highlighting different charities that are involved somehow with music.

The next charity I want to highlight is Music for Youth. Music for Youth is a youth music charity working with young people aged 25 and under across the UK. Their vision is to ensure that every young person in the UK can achieve their musical potential by performing the music they love. They believe that music, and the chance to participate in high-quality musical activities, should be open to every young person.

Charity Highlight - The Mockingbird Foundation

During the month of November, I am highlighting different charities that are involved somehow with music.

The next charity I want to highlight is The Mockingbird Foundation. The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1997 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community and beyond. Since they are entirely volunteer-run, administrative costs are less than 5% of revenues! So far, they have distributed over $2.3M to support music education for children – 652 grants in all 50 states!

Charity Highlight - Music for Relief

During the month of November, I am highlighting different charities that are involved somehow with music.

The next charity I want to highlight is Music for Relief. Music for Relief, a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, is dedicated to providing aid to survivors and communities affected by natural disasters to help them recover and rebuild. Founded by the band Linkin Park in 2005, the program aims to support immediate and long-term disaster relief with a primary goal of making a powerful and sustainable impact in highly affected areas.

Charity Highlight - Save the Music

During the month of November, I am going to be highlighting different charities that are involved somehow with music.

The first charity I want to highlight is Save the Music. They partner with public school districts to donate grants in the form of new musical instruments, technology, equipment, and resources for music teachers and school leaders. Grants provide opportunities for schools to jumpstart and support their music programs.
